Vibe integrates with ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot to power corporate travel booking

Vibe has launched a new AI integration that allows corporate travelers to search, book and manage travel through platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot – while, for the first time in the industry, the Travel Management Company remains fully in control of the booking process.

This is enabled by the Vibe MCP — Model Context Protocol — server that connects Vibe-enabled TMC platforms directly to leading AI assistant environments and allows travellers to access approved corporate travel content via natural language conversations rather than traditional booking interfaces.

For TMCs, the launch removes a key barrier to AI adoption. TMCs using Vibe can offer their clients AI-powered travel search, booking and servicing as part of their existing managed travel programme, without the need to build their own AI infrastructure.

Unlike consumer AI travel tools that risk sitting outside corporate programmes, Vibe’s MCP server is purpose-built for managed travel. Bookings are still tied to the TMC’s approved content, supplier relationships, payment processes, travel policies and reporting frameworks — providing the convenience of AI with the control required in corporate travel.

With the integration, corporate travellers can search and book flights, rail and hotels using their preferred AI assistant, view existing bookings, manage travel arrangements, make payments, change itineraries and access relevant corporate travel policy information.

The launch comes as AI assistants are fast emerging as a new interface for commerce, search and customer interaction. It’s both an opportunity and a threat for corporate travel providers. While travellers may expect to book and manage services more and more through conversations with AI, businesses still need control, compliance, duty of care and visibility.

ITG Business Travel is the first Vibe client live with the integration and is currently testing the technology with corporate clients in real-world booking environments
