Creative Ways to Use Cardboard Boxes
The cardboard box has been a universal mode of transport packaging for ages. Look around. Shops, markets, supermarkets, and hypermarkets have become impossible without cardboard boxes. Goods arrive at their destination in them, goods are displayed or sorted on their shelves in them, and everything unnecessary is taken out from the sales area in them. Everything that is needed daily or periodically for work is kept and stored in them. Count how many cardboard boxes you have in your living environment. The answer to this question would inform you that you would find it hard to maintain order in your home without at least a few cardboard boxes. Such boxes find their way to the pantry most of the time. Most closets and wardrobes would contain cardboard boxes filled with shoes, seasonal clothing, or bedding items. Aside from their primary function or role, cardboard boxes can, very often be used, reshaped, and elevated to an entirely different level.

Boxes are perfect for storing toys. Divide the toys into two or three cardboard boxes. Hand the children one box to play with for a while. After a time, when they become bored, take the first box away and give them the next. And so on. In this way, old toys will always feel “new” for the children and give parents some order and breathing space at home. You may also enhance the decor aspect of the room by covering the boxes with soft fabric or colorful decorative paper.
Little phone and computer accessories, chargers, headphones, speaker, cables – these often do not have a dedicated space anywhere in the house. So as not to lose any of these and to keep track of them, do set aside a corner for holding, say, a cardboard box, small or large, depending on the quantity.
Do you have a baby? You need towels, diapers, wipes (dry and wet), creams, lotions, oils, shampoos, pads and liners for bibs, onesies – all of these should be within arm’s length. But often putting this into a closet or drawer is just not practical or even close by. Decorative cardboard boxes lined with soft fabric will solve that problem.
Creatives love their creative mess, but they need an abundance of materials and tools for bringing their ideas to life. Whichever artistic or creative sphere you represent, organize your supplies in cardboard boxes – decorated or not, at least labeled to make them more navigable.

Every woman knows: there are never too many shoes! And they need storage, seasonally in and out. Adapted cardboard boxes for shoes, neatly arranged, would stand the test even for the fussiest housewives.
If you really don’t have time, or patience, or imagination, conveniently, ready-made decorative cardboard boxes are available. They come in different colors and designs, shapes, and prints. If you prefer to decorate your own cardboard boxes, you will never run out of materials. Decorative paper, self-adhesive foil or wallpaper, standard wallpaper and glue, varnishes, stencils (either cut by yourself or bought from outside) are just some of the basic supplies needed for the decorating of cardboard boxes in a style unmistakably yours.
Clothes that cannot be worn any longer can be put to very good use! A whole world of ingenious ideas can come to life with a little effort and some creative impulse. Make sure, of course, that you start by deciding in which design scheme you are going to create your cardboard boxes. Make a sketch now and see whether the solution fits the rest of the interior.
With a few strategies and designs, cardboard boxes initiate their transformation into multi-functional objects. Stylistically sculpt an armature of thick cardboard into a custom-fit shelving unit, if there is load-bearing support to bear the weight. Keeping the drawers uncluttered is a cinch when your cardboard box partitions help you corral smaller objects so they don’t mix, and everything remains in place.

Picture frames cut out of a cardboard box with or without base, background, beds for pets(db and kitty), beloved scratching posts on which they are much happier to file their claws rather than on the furniture, New Year decorations (Christmas trees, stars, lampshades, stands, trays); Many elegant objects that double up on both practical and decorative value and function can come out of a cardboard box.
Recycle the unusable or unwanted ones instead of just throwing them away. Contemplate some alternative form of artistic expression that will utilize cardboard boxes as a base material. Paper mache is a simple technique that perfectly applies at home. The cardboard would be soaked in a water bath until soft and pulverized. Then the resulting pulp could be formed into various three-dimensional shapes by applying it to a mold. You may also choose to pour it onto a sieve, small or larger, so as to create sheets of paper, which decorated with dried flower petals, could become unique coasters or invitations. There are as many ideas as people have for doing what they like to do in this world.
