Barstool Sports – Sam Riggs Bozoian

Barstool Sports’ story is that of an outsider making his way in. First founded by Bostonian Dave Portnoy in 2003 as a gambling advertisement and fantasy sports projection website, later expanding to cover other topics before Sam “Riggs” Bozoian joined as a golf blogger, becoming host of their Fore Play podcast and Commissioner for their annual Golf Classic tournament.

On this week’s GOLF’s Subpar episode, Riggs joins PGA Tour pro Colt Knost and close friend and on course rival Drew Stoltz for an exclusive interview. Together they discuss Riggs’ journey from playing hockey at Harvard to covering golf for Barstool; his experience interviewing Tiger Woods at Shadow Creek; as well as whether or not he would ever commit to an exclusive Fore Play vs. Subpar showdown.

He is one of the few individuals in the world capable of turning even a contentious topic into something everyone can relate to, his humor and experiences have greatly expanded the game of golf and shown how accessible it can be to all types of people.
