What Happened to Derrick Chrisley?

Derrick Chrisley’s death had an enormous effect on his family and viewers were moved by how they coped with it on Chrisley Knows Best.

Todd and Julie Chrisley remain committed to their family despite tragedy, raising five children – Chase, Savannah, Kyle and Grayson who all make appearances on the reality show.

Cause of death

Faye Chrisley continued raising her two surviving children despite the tragedy of losing one so early, such as Todd who later appeared on family reality TV series Chrisley Knows Best from 2014-2022 and its spinoff Growing Up Chrisley since 2019. Faye also featured her other child Randy on this program.

Faye Chrisley, age 77 and widow to Gene Raymond Chrisley (an Army Veteran who earned a bronze star during Korea), has five grandchildren – Savannah, Lindsie, Chase, and Grayson. Faye can often be found appearing on their family TV series Nanny and the Hooligans as an additonal voiceover talent. Her husband served his country honorably and died peacefully at Emory University Hospital on July 11, 2012 after suffering complications during a knee replacement procedure.

Randy is currently leading an unassuming life and does not use social media, with an estimated net worth of $1 Million and no social media accounts. After starting his own real estate company but not having much success, he joined RS service as an agent, potentially engaging in other business ventures as well. Randy became well known after becoming part of his brother’s television show; yet has yet to reach similar levels of success himself; nonetheless he has made his own mark within the industry.

Autopsy findings

Theories swirled about what caused Derrick’s death, yet medical experts were only able to obtain any tangible answers through an autopsy. While its findings brought some clarity, many unanswered questions still remained and family and fans experienced profound feelings of sorrow that will never truly go away.

The Chrisley family is well-known thanks to the widely watched reality show Chrisley Knows Best, featuring Todd and Julie Chrisley with their group of preternaturally blonde children – it chronicles their daily lives and adventures on camera. While the show has proven immensely popular, its star cast have also faced financial strain.

Gene Raymond Chrisley and Faye had two sons, including Todd (the real estate mogul and television personality) and Derrick Chrisley who passed away at only four months of age. Unfortunately, Derrick did not survive his ordeal.

Todd and his siblings share an incredibly close bond that was evident even in the face of such an overwhelming loss. It reverberated through all members of his clan from elder to youngest and served as an unpleasant reminder that life can change quickly and unexpectedly; like with JonBenet Ramsey’s death, his absence will always remain present within those whose hearts he touched and those who knew and loved him.

Drugs and alcohol

The Chrisley family is one of the most well-known families on reality television, but their show has seen its fair share of scandals and tragedies, leaving many viewers to have questions about them, particularly when it comes to Derrick Chrisley, their youngest child.

Death of a child can be an unbearably heartbreaking experience for all involved, including celebrities. Many famous stars have struggled with substance abuse over their careers; fortunately, some have overcome these struggles and now lead healthy lifestyles.

One notable example is Corey Hart, once considered one of the leading teen idols worldwide. Following an arrest for drug possession and subsequent rehabilitation treatment, Corey reemerged as one of the world’s biggest idols; later returning to star in multiple television shows.

Savannah Chrisley has also struggled with substance abuse. The reality star attempted suicide and noted it was one of the hardest things she has ever done; however, her father stood by and offered his support throughout it all.

Derrick will always remain part of Faye and Gene’s five grandchildren – Savannah, Lindsie, Chase, and Kyle – even though he passed away as an infant.

Unanswered questions

As soon as the news of Derrick’s untimely passing emerged, his family were devastated and sought answers that might help them cope with their loss. Many theories circulated, suggesting drugs or alcohol played an influential role in his sudden departure.

However, it remains uncertain as to the truth of these theories. While any death can be devastatingly heartbreaking for families involved, the family members of Jagger remain strong in supporting each other and remain focused on finding positive resolution.

Todd Chrisley, an esteemed businessman and real estate mogul who has amassed an immense fortune over time, boasting three children including Randy. However, life hasn’t always been smooth sailing as Todd was diagnosed with stage four cancer and went through a bitter divorce proceedings.

He has also been accused of mistreatment in prison, yet this claim is completely baseless. Media coverage often casts negative connotations upon those who speak up about their experiences – in an attempt to dissuade others from speaking up in fear that legal complications might follow – when in reality all prisoners receive equal treatment in custody.
