BIDEN SENDS TROOPS TO AID ISRAEL: Aircraft carrier and warships on their way to the Gaza Strip! 5,000 American soldiers are coming

By  |

The US government has decided to deploy the aircraft carrier strike group USS Gerald R. Ford to the Mediterranean Sea in support of Israel.

The information was confirmed by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

“The group includes the carrier and support ships,” Austin said.

The secretary added that the US would provide additional ammunition to Israel.

“The first aid will begin today and arrive in the coming days,” Austin said.

American leader Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday that additional aid for Israeli defense forces is on its way to Israel. Following the conversation between the two leaders, the White House issued a statement.

5,000 US Troops Arrive in the Eastern Mediterranean

The US has ordered a strike group to sail to the eastern Mediterranean in an effort to be closer to Israel following Hamas attacks.

The USS Gerald R. Ford and its approximately 5,000 sailors and deck of warplanes will be accompanied by cruisers and destroyers in a show of force that is intended to be ready to respond to anything, from possibly preventing additional weapons from reaching Hamas to enforcing surveillance.

President Biden has again expressed his deepest condolences for all the missing, wounded and killed, and has promised full support to the Government and people of Israel in facing the unprecedented and horrific attack by Hamas terrorists, the White House said in a statement.

Biden and Netanyahu also discussed the hostage-taking by Hamas members.

Israeli forces are currently shelling the city of Gaza and the Palestinian territory, while southern and central Israel is under attack by Hamas.

The death toll is rising by the hour. Israel says that at least 700 people have been killed and more than 2,100 have been injured since the attacks began on Saturday.
